The PGIs
of southern France

We welcome you to our Languedoc arc, stretched between the Mediterranean and the Massif Central. Naturally, our vineyards are spread over two types of territory: on the plain by the sea and on the hillsides inland. Beyond this obvious fact, let’s dig deeper! From the foothills of the Massif Central and the Pyrenees, through the Coast or along the Atlantic Corridor, to the south of our South, it’s all there: a host of micro-climates sculpted by the winds, always bursting with sunshine, in symbiosis with a myriad of soils and characters in our winemakers.

Our terroirs and our wines spontaneously reflect the preserved landscapes of garrigue on the hillsides and causses (our mountainous plateaus) but also of wet lagoon lands. Each of these areas has its own bird songs and vegetation. Their preserved fauna and flora speak loudly, even in the glasses: thyme and rosemary, notes of the soil or the sea, salty or saline… We take you on this journey! Let’s go !

Grape varieties

The creation of vine varieties resistant to fungal diseases has accelerated over the last fifteen years. It is part of the strategy led by the wine industry to reduce its use of plant protection products.

Design and Production

The respect of the environment is applied from the conception and production of our wines. Acting to reduce the various environmental impacts, in terms of practices or even at the regulatory level, remains fundamental.

Biodiversity

The polyculture allows to cultivate several species of plants in the same farm, or more widely in a natural region and enriches the biodiversity. And it is necessary to take care of the Fauna and Flora of our soil.

Water management

One of the great challenges of the Languedoc. The mastery of issues related to water management and vine irrigation is a central topic of reflection for many winegrowers in Languedoc.
